Quantitative research typically takes placed in a laboratory environment and involves a great deal of preparation and design before any experiments are conducted. This 8-week course introduces students to formal experimental designs and research documents that are used to construct quantitative research projects.

Students will generate hypotheses, create a design to explore those hypotheses, document the design for review, modify the design as necessary, and create a formal research design document that can be used as a basis for grant proposals or experimental studies related to the field of parapsychology.

It is strongly recommended that students have taken the Research Methods course or have previous experience with research methodology
